St. George, HERE WE COME!!!
Okay everybody who is dedicated and set to achieve one of the most amazing goals and do it in the name of Michelle, October 3, 2009 is our offical date!!!! The St. George marathon has a "lottery" style registration process. Bad new for the 2008 marathon they had over 10,500 applicants with only 7,000 spots...the good news they moved that 7,000 up to 7,200 for the 2009 run. I've been trying to figure out how we could all get a guarenteed spot, and theres a couple options (however niether is guarenteed) the first being, i could try to make "We Love Michelle" a charity and if it was accepted as such, we could all have a guarenteed spot. the second option is, and i dont know how everyone feels about it, in the registration they give you the option for "group registation" that means that up to 5 of us can register as a group and we will count as one, so one chance to get picked either all 5 get picked or none of us get picked... This is all a little too stessful for me because i REALLY want everyone who wants to run this for Michelle to have that chance. So let me know what you think about the two options i've found so far... oh and registration starts on April 1 at 12:01AM!!!!

I thought we had a gauranteed spot because Bruce has ran it and once you run it you have spot if you want one. SO through Bruce we could all (5 of us, I guess) get in. Have you talked to Bruce about it?
well last time i talked to christy she said that bruce said it doenst work like that...so i dont know ill make some phone calls. who's all running anyway? you, wendy, lynda?, christy, susan?, amanda?, Dannielle, Mckenna, me...anyone else?

Megan, I like the first idea if we can do it...Sarah want's to run it and Katberine and Lauren are thinking about it also.

good new...hopefully...i called the marathon place and talked to a women who said my best bet in getting us all in was to email the committee board for the marathon and tell them our situation....hopefully it will turn out good... So does anyone know if Jodi wants to run too?
Megan! I love you! And i thought about you every day i was home and im so sorry we didnt hang out. I tried to catch you at church but your dad said the little man got sick. :( Ps. I wish i was running this marathon with you, but i am NOT in shape. We need to catch up sometime soon. Its been SO LONG. Love ya.
megz- i can't wait to run!!! I think you should try the charity thing? I don't know...i'm defenitly in though!
is there a half? my knees would probably explode if I ran a full.
